Group Stage

Teams are seeded into 4 groups of 6, for a round robin BO1 stage. The points system for the group stage is as follows:

Win = 3p
OT Win = 2p
OT Loss = 1p
Loss = 0p

For information on tie breakers and other important Rule context, please see the 2023 R6 Rainbow Rumble Rulebook. The top 2 each group (total of 8), qualify directly to the Main event, and play a Placement Stage to further refine their finishing positions. This stage is a single elimination BO1. The teams that finish 3rd and 4th in their group (total of 8) go on to play an Elimination stage to determine who finished 9-10th. This bottom 8 stage is a single elimination BO3.

Elimination Stage

The Top 8 teams from groups will qualify for the Main event but play a Placement bracket to refine finishing positions in a BO1 single elimination style bracket
The teams 9-16th in groups will play a BO3 single Elimination bracket to decide who finished 9-10th
The top 10 teams from this qualifier will progress into the Main event
