UKIN Second Division Winter Open Qualifier

The UK Ireland Nationals Second Division Winter Open Qualifier is a two day tournament run across October 17th and 18th.

Day 1 consists of a five (5) round, best of 1 Swiss system. After the 5 rounds, depending on the number of participating teams, one of the following will happen:

• If 16 or less teams participate, the top 4 teams at the end of 5 rounds of Swiss will move onto a Double Elimination closed qualifier on October 18th, 2020 at 13:00PM BST
• If 17 or more teams participate, the top 8 teams at the end of 5 rounds of Swiss will move onto a Single Elimination closed qualifier on October 18th, 2020 at 13:00PM BST

All teams must comprise of at least 3 players residing within the UK or Ireland, and all players & coaches must be over the age of 18.

The top 4 teams from the closed qualifier on October 18th will earn a spot in the upcoming UKIN Second Division Winter Season.
